It was about time...
It all started when my wife Lis, daughter Kari, and I (Kurt) moved back to Sweden from California in 2005.
Lis, a retired jockey (the first female professional jockey in Europe) and I having spent twenty-five years in the horticulture industry; decided to pursue our lifelong dream of building a nature retreat in southern Sweden.
Our dream came true in 2012 when we purchased farm land located in the Skåne Alps. We have about 6 acres of land and are surrounded by grazing pastures and the beautiful Beech tree forest. Our property has a lake that is great for cooling off and hiking trails are abundant. Over the years we have also added a few structures. The Quiet Room is a relaxation oasis loved by yoga enthusiasts, musicians and those just looking for a quiet space. The Hangout is the newest addition located by the lake and it's the perfect space to watch the sunset and roast a few marshmallows.
